Back in town

Have just returned from a great 5 day holiday in Barcelona.

Had fantastic weather, shopping, full bellies and happy faces after seeing so much cool design and sun.

Spain is cool, our grasp of catalan is not.

Photo's can be found on flicker, for anyone thats interested (you have to have an invite from me if you haven't already).

Had an excellent run from Luton airport, with the queue for us non-eu nationals kicking the ass of those who actually live in this country. Would recommend the Easy-Bus transport wise as well. Read about easy-cruise the other day, can't vouch for that in the same way as the buses.

Those that have blogs but don't use them

Recently this blog has recieved some mocking from individuals (who shall remain nameless) that think that it is boring.

To those individuals I say, better have a blog and fill it with something, than have a blog and not say anything... Example useless blog

Ha ha, take that all you player haters.

One week down

Having been at work for one week now, I have already developed a routine, which is nice as my morning commute has dropped from 2 hours twenty mins to 35 mins.

The role is actually quite cool, as I facilitate one workshop per week and spend the rest of the week writing up the findings and preping for the next weeks workshop.

Have refined my use of a documentation technique called UML, which has worked out really well, as it makes it easier to place a large number of aspects of the process into one diagram without clutering it too much and making it confusing... very geeky exciting stuff for a process analyst like me.

The contract is only for 2 months, but there is potential for more process work when this lot has finished so will keep my fingers crossed as Covern Garden is a great place to work.

Leaving for Barcelona on Friday, only 2 weeks in work and I'm already looking forward to a holiday!
